This 107,000 S.F. mixed-use facility combines housing for the elderly, a multi-function medical center, retail space and parking. Conceived and developed by Morris Heights Health Center, a community based non-profit social and health services provider in the Bronx, the project is groundbreaking as the first condominium tax-credit deal partnering multiple agencies including HUD, HPD and the Bronx Borough Presidents office.

On the lower levels of the building is a state-of-the-art 30,000 SF Artical 28 Diagnostic and Treatment Center. The health center has a 10,000 SF medical specialties unit, a 9,000 SF mental health and wellness center,as well as a modern radiology suite and classrooms. On the upper level of the facility is a 5,000 SF physical therapy suite, as well as an administrative unit with offices, conference rooms, and work spaces for the growing staff of Morris Heights Health Center.

The other components of this project are a 55,000 SF 70-unit senior residence, a 9,000 SF commercial space for a medical support retail tenant, and covered attendant parking for 80 vehicles to serve the residents and staff.

Located across the street from the current headquarters of Morris Heights Health Center, the construction of this $28 million facility was completed in 2012.
